Are you ever like, “I was just freelancing and obsessed with (insert passion here), how did I end up submitting payroll and dealing with cOmPliAnCe issues?”

Yep, us too.

Funny story, I didn’t actually start Paradigm with the intention of growing a team.

So yeah, I’ve been there. It was a time back in November 2021, and I was at our weekly team meeting laughing about some meme with our Marketing Intern and brand new Operations Assistant, and I was like “how tf did this happen!?”

That was the moment I knew I had to create Paradigm Management Foundations, the moment when I (with years of management experience) thought to myself “how did I get here” and "OMG HOW ARE OUR GORGEOUS PERFECT WORLD CHANGING CLIENTS GOING TO MANAGE THESE TEAMS WE ARE BUILDING THEM?!"

Modern Managers Need To Cultivate Their Own Leadership Voice To Be Successful

Without someone telling them what they can/can't/should/shouldn't do.

Entrepreneurial women are trailblazers, unapologetically bold, and passionate. We built businesses on being radically kind, emotional, and creative.

And we are building life changing companies that impact not only the clients we serve, but the people we employ.

We don't need to know the 7 habits to be highly effective, or how to throw a killer team retreat (although, fun!)

We need to know how to bring out the best in our people, who we genuinely care about, while protecting our own livelihood and the vehicle on which we are making a difference in the world: our businesses.

What Our Students Are Saying

“PMF gave me so much confidence in my management. The way that Kira organized and presented the content was so relevant– I finally felt like I was getting a comprehensive leadership and management curriculum with how she structured it, instead of just learning management lessons from the trial and error. I’m going to continue to revisit this content as I continue to grow as a manager. It’s priceless for me. ”

Megan Baker | @megkco

“PMF was so helpful for our small team. Kira taught us how to truly care & connect with our employees so we can be the best managers we can be. We truly learned how to have difficult conversations, creating meaningful boundaries and be better communicators. I’d highly recommend PMF for every business owner or manager out there!”

Dani Silber | @comingouthappy

“I would recommend PMF to Founders and CEOs who are growing their team and really need a safe place to talk about management. While you may have been a leader in your company for awhile, managing a team maybe new and having an environment you can learn how to handle conflict, coach and create a culture that reflects the values of your company is powerful. It is worth your time having these conversations!”

Abigail Pumphrey | @bossproject

“As an online business owner who went from art school, to corporate, to running my own business, and suddenly "managing" a team of 5 employees — I was over my head with what it actually meant to manage a team in a way that would be supportive for everyone. I'd successfully run my team with contractors for several years, but having a team of employees was a whole different ballgame. Taking PMF helped me to confidently step into this new role as a CEO and also empower others to lead and manage on my team as well. I was able to bridge the gap between my values and vision for our company, and what would actually be supportive for our team as they were onboarded and grew into their roles. I love that I was able to open up and share with others who were at a similar place in their leadership journey throughout this process and we were all able to learn together!”

Kelsey Kerslake | @kelseykerslake

“I’d never managed a team before starting my own, and I was always nervous that things were working out because I got lucky – not because I was a good leader. Going through PMF helped me learn from other entrepreneurs and new leaders who were going through the same thing, and working on our management styles and leadership skills together helped me feel more confident in my ability to lead any team!”

Haley Johnson | @propegy

“I would recommend PMF to new managers and seasoned managers, alike. The support that it offers + having a community of people to talk and brainstorm with when you face new employee situations is unparalleled. PMF helped me gain the confidence to be a transparent and authentic leader and trust my intuition. If you're looking for a solution around navigating management life, look no further!”

PMF is for you if...

  • CEO or Founder of a business with one or more employees.

  • You run a pretty well-oiled machine with your team, but sometimes get into situations where you're not confident you are getting the most out of your people's skill set.

  • You hear the "leadership" gurus talking about how to manage and lead your company all the time, but would like to talk to people about it that have been where you are.

  • You love your team and your people are definitely your greatest asset, and you want to be sure they are getting the greatest boss and experience while working for you.

  • You manage your team pretty well, but you run into situations that you wish you knew how to handle without Googling "how to give feedback but still be nice" or more seriously "how do I explain this HR policy to my team?""

  • Above all, you just want to be confident that your business isn't being held back by what you don't know that you don't know.

Kira La Forgia

MA, Organizational Management

With a decade of experience in People Operations in the corporate world, a Masters in Organizational Management, and a thriving online business with a remote team, I am no stranger to the sensitive issues involved in the human side of running a business. There’s a lot to learn from hiring, onboarding, training, and managing the performance of over 500 employees for a multimillion dollar business. The good news is, I learned it all so you don’t have to.
